A simple dip, this can be expanded into many variations with the addition of texture crunchies.

Ingredients

1/2 Cup(c)  chopped pimientos, drained
1 Pound(lb)  cheddar cheese, grated
1/2 Cup(c)  finely chopped raw vegetables (of your choosing)
1 1/2 Cup(c)  evaporated milk
1/4 Cup(c)  chopped green onions
1/3 Cup(c)  crisp bacon bits
1/2 Cup(c)  chopped black or green olives

Preparation

Fry bacon until crisp.

In a heavy saucepan or double boiler, melt cheese and evaporated milk together over low heat. Stir until smooth.

Add pimiento and bacon.

Serve in a chafing dish.
