Recipe Description
In large skillet, brown beef in hot oil. In 3 1/2-or 4-quart slow cooker, combine celery, carrots and lentils. Top with browned beef. Stir in French onion soup, thyme, salt and pepper. Gradually stir in the water.Cover slow cooker; cook on low-heat setting for 7 to 8 hours or on high-heat setting for 3 1/2 to 4 hours.
