1 Tablespoon(T)  flour
1 Tablespoon(T)  butter, melted
6   seasoned chicken parts
1 Dash(ds)  garlic salt
1 Cup(c)  long grain rice, uncooked
1 1/3 Cup(c)  water
4 1/2 Cup(c)  milk
1/4 Teaspoon(t)  pepper
1 Tablespoon(T)  salt
1 Tablespoon(T)  flour
1/4 Cup(c)  celery, chopped
1/2 Cup(c)  mushrooms, chopped
1 Tablespoon(T)  butter, melted


Add mushrooms and celery to melted butter in saucepan and saute until golden.  Stir in flour and seasonings.  Gradually add milk and bring to the boiling point, stirring constantly until thickened.  Remove from heat.  Blend in water.  Add rice and garlic salt, mixing well.  Pour into large baking pan.  Arrange chicken pieces on top of rice mixture.  Cover and bake for 3 hours at 300 degrees F.
