Recipe Description
This is one of my favorite dishes to make when having steaks or steamed crabs. It is a crowd-pleaser. Don't let the simple preparation fool you. The end results are just delicious!

Serves Tool

Serves To:USMetric
3/4 Teaspoon(t)  old bay seasoning
4   ears of corn
2 Pound(lb)  white potatoes

Shuck and wash the corn. Break in half. Set aside. Wash the potatoes and cut (do not peel) into very large pieces. Small potatoes should be left whole. Place the potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook until just tender, 10 to 15 minutes. Add the corn. Bring the water back to a boil and cook for 35 minutes. Drain and place on a serving platter. Sprinkle liberally with old bay seasoning. Serve hot.

Additional notes

Variation: Fresh green beans (whole) are a nice addition to this dish. Just add them to the pot at the same time you add the corn.
