Recipe Description
These are great brownies.  My favorite way to eat them is with large glass of milk while they are still a little gooey and chewy!

Ingredients

1/2 Cup(c)  semisweet chocolate chips, or white chocolate chips
1/2 Cup(c)  walnuts, chopped
1/2 Cup(c)  all purpose flour
1 Teaspoon(t)  vanilla
2   eggs
1 1/3 Cup(c)  sugar
3 Ounce(oz)  unsweetened chocolate
1/2 Cup(c)  butter, cut into chunks

Preparation

To prepare Fudge Frosting:  In a small pan, combine 1/3 cup whipping cream and 6 ounces semisweet chocolate chips.  Heat over low heat, stirring, until chocolate is melted.   Stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla or 2 tablespoons mint flavored liqueur or rum.  Remove from heat and let cool until thick enough to spread, about 1 hour.  To prepare Brownies:  In a medium sized pan, combine butter and chocolate.  Heat over low heat, stirring occasionally, until melted and smooth.  Remove from heat and let cool slightly.  Then add sugar, eggs, and vanilla and stir until blended.  Stir in flour.  Spread batter evenly in a greased 8 inch square baking pan.  Sprinkle with walnuts.  Bake in a 350 degree F oven until edges of brownie feel firm and center springs back when lightly touched, about 25 minutes.  Let cool in pan on a rack.  Then spread evenly with Fudge Frosting, if desired.  If made ahead, cover and store at room temperature for up to 2 days.  To serve, cut into about 2 1/2 inch squares.
