Recipe Description
Isn't it just amazing where you'll find suspect ingredients?  Canned baked beans often aren't gluten free. These delicious beans are homemade and entirely gluten free!  You won't need to use dried beans, but you do have to work a little to prepare this recipe.

Ingredients

15 Ounce(oz)  small white beans, undrained
2 Slice(sli)  bacon, diced
1/2 Cup(c)  molasses
1   small onion, diced finely
1/4 Teaspoon(t)  salt
3 Tablespoon(T)  tomato paste
1 Teaspoon(t)  prepared yellow mustard

Preparation

In a medium sized saucepan, fry the bacon until crisp.  Add the onion once the fat begins to evaporate from the bacon.  When the bacon is crisp, drain the excess fat, and discard.  Add all the other ingredients.  Stir well.  Bring to a boil.  Lower the heat to low and simmer, uncovered, for at least fifteen minutes, or until the sauce thickens.  Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
