2   egg whites
1 1/4 Cup(c)  sugar
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  cream of tartar
1 Tablespoon(T)  light corn syrup
1/3 Cup(c)  water
1 1/2 Teaspoon(t)  vanilla extract


In the bottom of a double boiler, bring about 1 cup of water to a boil. In the top of the double boiler, combine the egg whites, sugar, cream of tartar, syrup, and water. Set the top pan over the boiling water on medium heat. Beat the mixture with an electric mixer on high speed until it holds a stiff peak. Add the vanilla and blend. Use to frost cooled cake of your choice.
