3/4 Pound(lb)  ground beef
1   onion, chopped
3 Clove(clv)  garlic, minced
1   carrot, grated
1 Teaspoon(t)  basil leaves, dried
1/4 Teaspoon(t)  salt
8 Ounce(oz)  tomato sauce
10 3/4 Ounce(oz)  condensed tomato soup
1/2 Cup(c)  water
1 Teaspoon(t)  dried italian seasoning
12 Ounce(oz)  spaghetti pasta
1/3 Cup(c)  parmesan cheese, grated


Brown ground beef with onion and garlic in heavy skillet over medium heat. Drain well, and then add carrot, basil, salt, tomato sauce, tomato soup, water and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until carrot is tender. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente, while sauce is simmering. Drain pasta, return to pot, add 1 cup of sauce, and toss. Place on serving platter and pour remaining sauce over pasta. Sprinkle with cheese and serve immediately.
