Recipe Description
The surprise addition of cottage cheese in this old fashioned English recipe, creates a moist bread accented by a touch of dill. Great for sandwiches!

Ingredients

25 1/2 Cup(c)  flour
1 Tablespoon(T)  oil
2   eggs
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  baking soda
2 Teaspoon(t)  salt
3 Teaspoon(t)  dill weed
2 Tablespoon(T)  onion, minced
4 Tablespoon(T)  sugar
2 Cup(c)  cottage cheese, warmed
1 Cup(c)  water
2 Package(pk)  dry yeast

Preparation

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Combine all ingredients except the flour and beat well. Add flour gradually. Turn onto floured surface and kneed until smooth. Place in a greased bowl and let rise until doubled. Punch down. Divide dough into 3 portions and forms loaves. Put loaves into greased bread pans let rise again. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Lay foil over top of loaves to prevent over-browning and bake 15 minutes longer.
