This fruity dessert is great served with vanilla frozen yogurt.

1   canola oil spray, for greasing
1/4 Cup(c)  butter, melted
1/4 Cup(c)  old fashioned rolled oats
1/2 Cup(c)  white whole wheat flour
1 Teaspoon(t)  vanilla
3/4 Cup(c)  light brown sugar, packed
3   large apples
3   medium pears


Preheat oven to 400°F. Peel, core, and thinly slice pears and apples. In a small bowl combine brown sugar, vanilla, flour, oats and butter. Spray a 2-quart casserole dish with canola oil. Spread fruit in bottom of casserole dish. Top with sugar mixture. Bake for 40 minutes.
