4 | Teaspoon(t) | cornstarch | |
3 | egg yolks | ||
2 | Cup(c) | rice, cooked | |
1 | lemon juice | ||
1 | Dash(ds) | salt to taste |
Preparation
Place chicken soup powder and water in a soup pot.
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat.
Add cornstarch and yolks and blend.
Add rice, lemon juice, and salt. Simmer until very hot.
Additional notes
If soup is too salty, add potato and boil 5 minutes. Remove potato and serve. The potato should absorb and remove salt.
