Recipe Description
Making a trifle is a delicious way to disguise a less than perfect outcome of a cake. Mine originated from a delicious chocolate pound cake that wasn't quite perfect in appearance. We could have eaten the cake just the way it was, but chocolate with more chocolate is pretty awesome.

Ingredients

4 Cup(c)  chocolate pound cake, sliced
2 Cup(c)  prepared pudding (use your favorite)
2   plain chocolate bars, crushed

Preparation

Cut the pound cake into small cubes. Place half of the cubes in the bottom of four dessert dishes or one small casserole dish. Pour approximately 1/4 cup of pudding into each cup, over the pound cake. Crush or chop one of the chocolate bars. Sprinkle over the top of the pudding. Repeat the layers of cake, pudding, and crushed chocolate bar. Refrigerate until well chilled.
