Recipe Description
Romaine lettuce is recommended for this salad because it's substantial enough to maintain its character when paired with the rich dressing, which would overwhelm more delicate greens. Chicory makes a good substitution. The slight bitterness balances the sweetness of the dressing and the fruit.

1/2 Cup(c)  mayonnaise
1/4 Cup(c)  peanut butter
1/4 Cup(c)  honey
6 Cup(c)  romaine lettuce, torn
3   bananas, sliced
2   apples, cubed
1/2 Cup(c)  raisins
1/2 Cup(c)  peanuts


In small bowl, combine all dressing ingredients and blend well. To serve, in large bowl, combine all salad ingredients and toss gently. Serve salad immediately with dressing.
