Preparation
Preheat oven to 400° F. Lightly oil a small baking sheet. Prepare filling ingredients. Measure flour, baking powder and salt into a medium bowl and sift three times. In another medium bowl, stir together water, concentrate and oil. Pour concentrate mixture over dry ingredients and stir to mix with a fork. Place dough on a lightly floured surface and knead 10 to 13 times. Add a little more flour if dough is sticky. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to form a rectangle with a generous 1 1/2 inch thickness. Sprinkle dough with cinnamon and place date pieces all over top of dough. Roll up jelly roll style and cut into eight 1 inch to 1 1/4 inch pieces. Place biscuits on baking sheet and sprinkle cinnamon over tops. Bake for 15 to 16 minutes or so. Biscuits should not feel rubbery when done. Remove baking sheet from oven and immediately place biscuits on a wire rack to cool. Serve warm or cold. To store, wrap cooled biscuits in plastic and store on countertop or freeze.
