Ingredients

1   cheddar cheese, shredded
1/4 Teaspoon(t)  ground nutmeg
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  pepper
2 Teaspoon(t)  salt
1 Tablespoon(T)  lemon juice
1 1/2 Cup(c)  milk
1 Pound(lb)  broccoli, cut up
4 Cup(c)  chicken broth
1 Package(pk)  frozen hash brown potatoes, diced
1   small onion, chopped

Preparation

Place onion and hash browns in a 3-quart saucepan.

Cover with chicken broth.

Cover pan and simmer until tender, about 10 minutes.

Add broccoli and simmer another 5 to 10 minutes.

Stir in milk, lemon juice, salt, pepper and nutmeg.

Heat until hot, about 5 minutes. Top with shredded swiss cheese.
