For another night's meal, make the salad, and toss in cooked cheese tortellini, or top with grilled chicken or shrimp.

1/2 Cup(c)  olive oil
1/3 Cup(c)  fresh lemon juice
2 Clove(clv)  garlic, pressed
1 Teaspoon(t)  worcestershire sauce
3/4 Teaspoon(t)  kosher salt
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  pepper, freshly ground
1 Bunch(bn)  romaine lettuce, torn
1/2 Cup(c)  parmesan cheese, freshly grated or shredded


Whisk together first 6 ingredients. Place lettuce in a large bowl. Pour olive oil mixture over lettuce, and toss. Sprinkle with cheese, tossing to combine. Top with croutons, and serve immediately.

Additional notes

Note: Olive oil mixture may be prepared up to 24 hours ahead. Cover and store in refrigerator until ready to serve. Whisk before serving.
