Chicken Fajita Pizza

Ingredients

1 Can(cn)  ready pizza crust
2 Cup(c)  monterey jack cheese, shredded
1/2 Cup(c)  prepared mild salsa or picante sauce
1 Cup(c)  green or red peppers, cut into strips
1 Cup(c)  onions, thinly sliced
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  garlic powder
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  salt
2   chicken breasts, boneless, skinless
1 Teaspoon(t)  chili powder
1 Tablespoon(T)  olive oil

Preparation

Cut chicken into 2"x1/2" strips.

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, stir fry chicken in oil for 5 minutes, or until lightly browned.

Stir in chili powder, salt and garlic powder. Add onions and green pepper; stir fry an additional 1 minute or until vegetables are crisp-tender.

Heat oven to 425 degrees.

Grease a 12" pizza pan or a 13x9" baking pan.

Unroll dough and place in greased pan; starting at the center press out with your hands. Bake at 425 degrees for 6 to 8 minutes or until very light golden brown.

Spoon chicken mixture over partially cooked dough.

Spoon salsa over chicken; sprinkle with cheese.

Bake an additional 14 to 18 minutes or until crust is golden brown.

Additional notes

You can add more chili powder to give it more heat.
