16 Ounce(oz)  kidney beans
1 Cup(c)  cheddar cheese, grated
1 Tablespoon(T)  chili powder
8 Ounce(oz)  macaroni
1 Teaspoon(t)  garlic powder
1 Tablespoon(T)  dried minced onions
15 Ounce(oz)  tomato sauce
1 Pound(lb)  ground beef
1 Cup(c)  water


Brown ground beef; drain well.

Add water, tomato sauce, onions and garlic powder; bring to a boil.

Stir in macaroni, chili powder and beans. cover and simmer for 15 minutes.

Place in casserole dish,Top with cheddar cheese.

Additional notes

You can make this healthier by using low fat cheese, whole wheat pasta, low salt or no salt tomato sauce and ground round.
