Who doesn't love popcorn? A tiny bit of spice lends flavor and pizzaz to an old fashioned favorite.

Ingredients

1/4 Teaspoon(t)  salt, or to taste
1/4 Cup(c)  popcorn
1/8 Teaspoon(t)  red pepper, ground
1/8 Teaspoon(t)  oregano, dried
2 Teaspoon(t)  chili powder
1 Teaspoon(t)  corn oil

Preparation

Heat the oil in a 2 quart saucepan over medium high heat. Stir in the chili powder, oregano and pepper. Add popcorn. Cover, but leave the lid a tiny bit ajar so the popcorn does not become soggy from steam in the pot. Cook until there are 2 to 3 seconds between pops. Toss with salt.
