These little gems are even more tempting when topped with festive treats such as flaked or shredded coconut, edible glitter, chopped candied fruit or chopped maraschino cherries.

1 Tablespoon(T)  powdered sugar
2 Ounce(oz)  unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
2   eggs
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  almond extract
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  vanilla
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  milk
1/4 Cup(c)  margarine, softened
1 Cup(c)  nuts, chopped
4 Cup(c)  holiday cookie mix


Heat oven to 375°F. Begin with Holiday Cookie Mix, then add nuts, margarine, vanilla, almond extract, eggs and chocolate. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Place about 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until set. Cool slightly before removing from cookie sheet. Roll cookies in powdered sugar while warm. Cool on wire rack. Roll in powdered sugar again.
