42 Ounce(oz)  cherry pie filling
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  cinnamon, ground
1 Cup(c)  unbleached or all purpose flour
1 Tablespoon(T)  sugar
1 Teaspoon(t)  baking powder
1 Pinch(pn)  ginger, ground
1/2 Cup(c)  skim milk
3 1/2 Tablespoon(T)  canola oil

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Spoon the pie filling into a shallow 2 quart baking dish and sprinkle with the cinnamon. In a small bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, ginger, milk, and oil. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto the pie filling. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes or until nicely browned. Serve warm.
