Recipe Description
This sweet breakfast bread is the perfect wake up call to the morning sun. Serve it with a good cup of coffee, and you'll have a real eye opener.

2   eggs
3 Cup(c)  flour
1 Cup(c)  warm milk
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  salt
1/4 Cup(c)  blanched almonds, chopped
1/2 Cup(c)  sugar
1/2 Cup(c)  butter
1 Cup(c)  bread crumbs
1   yeast cake
2 1/2 Tablespoon(T)  brown sugar
1 Teaspoon(t)  cinnamon


Mix sugar and butter. Pour warm milk over it, then add dissolved yeast. Add the eggs well beaten, flour and salt, to make a batter. Beat, and let rise for 1 1/2 hours. Beat again. Place in deep pie pans, sprinkled with flour. Make crumb topping by mixing bread crumbs, brown sugar, cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon salt, almonds and 2 tablespoons nearly melted butter. Mix in bowl, spread over cakes, let rise for 15 minutes and bake in medium hot oven.
