32 Ounce(oz)  cranberry sauce
16 Ounce(oz)  hickory flavor barbecue sauce
8   sandwich rolls or buns, split and toasted
3 Pound(lb)  pork shoulder roast
1 Tablespoon(T)  montreal steak seasoning
1 1/2   large onions, sliced


Sprinkle roast with steak seasoning, then set aside.  In a 5 quart slow cooker, arrange onion slices.  Top with roast.  In a medium bowl, combine barbecue sauce and cranberry sauce.  Pour over roast.  Cover and cook on low heat setting for 8 to 10 hours.  Transfer roast from slow cooker to a cutting board.  Tent with aluminum foil until cool enough to handle.  Using tongs, transfer onions to a serving bowl.  Pull or shred roast into bite size pieces.  Using a wire mesh strainer, strain cooking juices into a medium bowl.  Serve meat on sandwich rolls, along with onions and cooking juices.
