16 Ounce(oz)  small whole onions
2 Cup(c)  cubed potatoes
2 Cup(c)  sliced carrots
15 Ounce(oz)  navy beans, drained and rinsed
10 Ounce(oz)  whole kernel corn
1 Cup(c)  sliced celery
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  salt
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  paprika
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  black pepper
28 Ounce(oz)  chicken broth
1 1/2 Cup(c)  half-and-half
1/4 Cup(c)  all-purpose flour


In 4 1/2,-to 5'/2,-quart slow cooker, combine onions, potatoes, carrots, chickpeas, frozen corn, celery, the 1/2 teaspoon salt, the paprika and the 1/2  teaspoon pepper.

Pour broth over all.

Cover slow cooker; cook on low-heat setting for 7 to 9 hours or on high-heat setting for 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours.

In medium-size bowl, stir half-and-half into flour.

Stir into vegetable mixture in cooker.

Cover slow cooker; cook for 15 minutes longer.

Season to taste with additional salt and pepper.
