Recipe Description
Start this recipe early in the morning.  After 10+ hours of cooking time, you will have an unbelievably tender and flavorful steak.

Ingredients

2 1/2 Pound(lb)  beef round steak
10 3/4 Ounce(oz)  condensed cream of mushroom soup with roasted garlic
1   medium onion, chopped
8 Ounce(oz)  fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 Cup(c)  tomato based pasta sauce
1/4 Cup(c)  vodka
1/4 Cup(c)  reduced sodium beef broth
2 Teaspoon(t)  dried italian seasoning

Preparation

Cut steak into 6 serving size portions and set aside.  In a 4 quart slow cooker, combine mushrooms and onion.  Add steak.  For sauce, in a medium bowl, combine soup, pasta sauce, vodka, beef broth, and Italian seasoning.  Pour over steak.  Cover and cook on low heat setting for 10 to 12 hours.  Serve steak with sauce, drizzled sour cream and mashed potatoes.
