Serves Tool

Serves To:USMetric
8 Slice(sli)  whole wheat bread
2   eggs, beaten
1/3 Cup(c)  milk
2 Tablespoon(T)  sugar
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  cinnamon
2 Cup(c)  leftover cereal flakes, finely crushed
2 Tablespoon(T)  butter

In shallow bowl, combine eggs, milk, sugar and cinnamon and beat until smooth. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, letting stand for 1 minute, turn over, and then dip into crushed cereal to coat. In large skillet over medium high heat, melt butter. When it's melted and foamy, add the coated bread pieces, two to three at a time. Cook on first side for 3 to 5 minutes until golden brown. Carefully turn and cook on second side for 2 to 4 minutes until golden brown and crisp. Serve immediately.
