A rich mushroom sauce adds great flavor to tender marinated steak.  This is a recipe to share with company!

3 Tablespoon(T)  apple cider vinegar
1 Pound(lb)  round steak
1/8 Teaspoon(t)  pepper
1 Tablespoon(T)  worcestershire sauce
1/4 Teaspoon(t)  coriander, ground
1/2 Cup(c)  water
1 Cup(c)  beef broth
2 Tablespoon(T)  flour
1 1/2 Cup(c)  mushrooms, sliced
1   onion, minced
1 Tablespoon(T)  butter
1 Tablespoon(T)  vegetable oil


In glass dish, combine steak, vinegar and oil.  Cover and marinate for at least 8 to 24 hours.  When ready to prepare, preheat grill.  Drain steak, reserving marinade.  In large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.  Add onion and mushrooms.  Cook and stir until liquid evaporates, about 8 to 9 minutes.  Stir in flour.  Cook and stir for 2 minutes.  Add beef broth, water and marinade from beef and bring to a boil.  Stir in coriander, Worcestershire and pepper.  Reduce heat to low and simmer while cooking steak.  Grill steak 6 inches from medium coals for 7 to 10 minutes, turning once, until steak reaches desired doneness.  Remove from heat.  Cover, and let stand for 10 minutes.  Slice thinly against the grain and serve with mushroom sauce.
