Dutch Cucumber Salad

Garden fresh cucumbers are topped with a creamy dressing for a light summertime side dish.

Ingredients

1 Teaspoon(t)  salt
1   onion
2 Tablespoon(T)  tarragon vinegar
1 Pint(pt)  sour cream
2   cucumbers
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  pepper

Preparation

Slice the cucumbers as well as the onion and sprinkle with salt. Let stand a half hour. Place in cheese cloth and squeeze out water. Place the cucumber mixture in dish, add the vinegar and mix. Pour the sour cream over it, and sprinkle with pepper.
