Recipe Description
Great warm with vanilla ice cream, or take to a potluck. Can be made with any seasonal fruit.

4 Cup(c)  berries
1 Teaspoon(t)  baking powder
1 Teaspoon(t)  vanilla
1 Cup(c)  flour
1 Cup(c)  sugar
1 Cup(c)  milk
1/2 Cup(c)  butter or margarine


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Melt margarine in a 9x13" pan.

Mix the milk, sugar, flour, vanilla and baking powder together in the pan.

Spoon the fruit over the batter and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

Additional notes

I normally add some mild spices to compliment the fruit if need be, i.e. cinnamon and nutmeg for apples, or a dusting of brown sugar for peaches.
