Recipe Description
This is an easy beef and vegetable casserole recipe that is hearty and delicious.  Great for serving during the cold winter months.

Ingredients

1 Pound(lb)  ground beef
1/4 Cup(c)  onion, chopped
14 1/2 Ounce(oz)  cut green beans, drained
2 Can(cn)  tomato sauce
1/4 Teaspoon(t)  basil leaves, dried
1/8 Teaspoon(t)  pepper
10   refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
1 Cup(c)  cheddar cheese, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
2 Tablespoon(T)  margarine, melted
1 Tablespoon(T)  sesame seeds

Preparation

Heat oven to 375 degrees F.  In 10 inch ovenproof skillet, brown ground beef and onion until beef is thoroughly cooked.  Drain.  Add green beans, tomato sauce, basil and pepper.  Mix well.  Simmer while preparing biscuits.  Separate dough into 10 biscuits.  Cut holes in the center of each biscuit.  Fold cheese cubes into hot meat mixture.  Pull edges of biscuit rings to form an oval and place around outer edge of skillet.  Place biscuit holes in center of skillet.  Brush biscuit pieces with margarine.  Sprinkle with sesame seeds.  Bake at 375 degrees F for 23 to 28 minutes, or until golden brown.
