You will never make the typical cranberry sauce again after tasting this version. I make it year round!

Ingredients

Serves To:USMetric
1/2 Cup(c)  sugar
1/2 Cup(c)  walnuts
1/2   orange
1   red apple
2 Cup(c)  fresh cranberries

Preparation

Separately chop the cranberries, apple, orange and walnuts in a food processor to small pieces but not mushy.

Place all ingredients in a bowl, then add sugar. Let stand overnight.

If too tart, add more sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, until desired sweetness.
