16 Ounce(oz)  french bread loaf
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  crushed red pepper, dried
1 Tablespoon(T)  fresh chives, chopped
2 Tablespoon(T)  butter, melted
2 Tablespoon(T)  extra virgin olive oil
3 Clove(clv)  garlic, minced


Stir together first 5 ingredients in a small bowl. Cut bread in half lengthwise. Brush cut sides with garlic mixture. Place on a baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F for 13 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Cut each bread half into 8 slices.
