Golden Green Bean Crunch

Recipe Description
All the elements for this classic side dish come from the freezer or a can. When you are in the middle of the holiday cooking frenzy, this recipe is a cinch to put together and always well received by dinner guests.

15 Ounce(oz)  frozen french cut green beans
10 3/4 Ounce(oz)  condensed golden mushroom soup
6 Ounce(oz)  water chestnuts, sliced and drained
8 Ounce(oz)  french fried onions
1 Cup(c)  chow mein noodles

Preparation

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Cook frozen beans following package directions, then drain well. In 1 1/2 quart casserole, stir together the chow mein noodles, beans, golden mushroom soup and water chestnuts. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F about 25 minutes, or until bubbly around edges. Sprinkle with fried onions. Bake about 5 minutes longer, or until heated through.
