Recipe Description
This recipe is versatile simple and easy to make. it compliments any chicken dish and is a popular favorite. We have added eggs to this rice to go with Chinese recipes, and onions to compliment Mexican dishes.

1 Cup(c)  medium grain rice rice
1 Cup(c)  chicken broth
1 Cup(c)  water
1 Tablespoon(T)  butter


In medium frying pan melt butter on medium high heat.

 Once butter is melted add rice and stir to make sure rice is coated with butter.

 Allow rice to brown and stir occasionally. Brown rice to medium brown color.

 Add water and chicken broth ( watch for initial steam) Once added stir and allow to simmer with lid on for 20 minutes.

Check to see if done by flaking with fork and making sure water is absorbed. Place in bowl and serve.
