Recipe Description
A natural and healthy way to prepare and serve green beans to infants and children. Snapping fresh beans is an easy way to engage your older children in preparing foods, and they will be more likely to accept the dish.

2 Tablespoon(T)  water
1 Cup(c)  green beans

Preparation

Steam the green beans in the water. Save water when done steaming. Put beans in food processor or blender. Process on and off until desired consistency is reached. For ages 4 to 6 months, consistency should be equal to or only slightly thicker than breast milk or formula). Use a small amount of the cooking liquid to thin the final product if necessary. If you plan to freeze the final product, do not thin with breast milk or formula. Work the pulp through a strong strainer to remove fibrous materials.
