1 Cup(c)  non fat buttermilk
1/4 Cup(c)  margarine
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  salt
3/4 Teaspoon(t)  baking soda
2 Teaspoon(t)  baking powder
1/4 Cup(c)  non fat dry milk powder
1/2 Cup(c)  whole wheat flour
1 1/2 Cup(c)  all purpose flour


Preheat oven to 425° F. Combine all dry ingredients in a fine wire mesh sieve. Sift into a large bowl. Cut in margarine until mixture forms coarse crumbs. Make a well in center of mixture. Stir in buttermilk until mixture forms a ball. Knead dough on a lightly floured surface 4 or 5 times. Pat into a rectangle about 1 inch thick. Cut biscuits with a 2 inch round cutter. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 10 to 11 minutes, or until golden. Serve warm.
