Recipe Description
This dish is so simple to prepare, especially when you have mashed potatoes on hand. I usually whip this together after the holidays, when I'm looking for meals to create from Christmas dinner leftovers.

Ingredients

1 Cup(c)  breadcrumbs
3 Tablespoon(T)  cheese, grated
1 Teaspoon(t)  butter
1 Pinch(pn)  pepper, to taste
3 Tablespoon(T)  milk
2 Cup(c)  mashed potatoes
1 Pinch(pn)  salt, to taste

Preparation

Beat together all the ingredients, except the cheese and crumbs. Strew half the breadcrumbs thickly in a greased baking dish. Add in the potato mixture. Sprinkle with cheese and remaining breadcrumbs. Dot with bits of butter. Bake in a 400 degree F oven for about 30 minutes, or until lightly browned and bubbling.
