1/2 Cup(c)  tahini (sesame seed paste)
1 1/2 Teaspoon(t)  kosher salt, or to taste
15 Ounce(oz)  chickpeas, drained
1/8 Teaspoon(t)  cayenne pepper
1/4 Teaspoon(t)  white pepper
1 Teaspoon(t)  cumin, ground
1/4 Cup(c)  vegetable oil
2 Clove(clv)  garlic, crushed
1/4 Cup(c)  fresh lemon juice, or to taste


Combine all the ingredients in a food processor. Add 1/2 cup water, and process until smooth. Transfer to a bowl, cover, and refrigerate until ready to serve.
