Recipe Description
I believe I came really close to duplicating IHOP's fluffy pancakes.  If you are an IHOP fan, this recipe might quickly become a weekend breakfast favorite.

Ingredients

1/4 Cup(c)  sugar
2 Tablespoon(T)  butter, melted
1 1/4 Cup(c)  buttermilk
1   egg, beaten
1 Pinch(pn)  salt
1 Teaspoon(t)  baking soda
1 Teaspoon(t)  baking powder
1 1/4 Cup(c)  all purpose flour, sifted

Preparation

Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.  In a separate bowl, combine the egg and buttermilk.  Add to the flour mixture, stirring only until smooth.  Blend in the melted butter and sugar.  Cook on a medium hot lightly greased griddle, using about  1/4 cup of batter for each pancake.  Drop the batter onto the griddle in 5 inch wide circles.  Cook until the pancakes are brown on one side and around the eddges, then flip and brown the other side.
