Recipe Description
Traditional salsa is great, but variety is the spice of life.  This tapenade is good with traditional corn tortilla chips, but is also great on sandwiches, focaccia, and so much more.

Ingredients

Serves To:USMetric
1/2 Ounce(oz)  fresh basil
1 Tablespoon(T)  olive oil
5 Ounce(oz)  green olives, drained and chopped finely
1   small onion, diced finely
1 Pint(pt)  cherry or grape tomatoes, diced finely

Preparation

In a medium sized bowl, combine all the ingredients.  Chop very fine, or pulse with food processor.  Mix well.  Serve at room temperature or cold, similarly to how you would serve salsa.
