An easy cornbread recipe made even simpler with theuse of a bread machine. Toss in a few spicy jalapeno peppers, and you have a taste sensation!

Ingredients

1/2 Cup(c)  water
1/2 Cup(c)  frozen whole kernel corn, thawed
1 Tablespoon(T)  butter,
2 Teaspoon(t)  jalapeno chile, chopped
2 Cup(c)  bread flour
1/4 Cup(c)  cornmeal
1 Tablespoon(T)  sugar
1 Teaspoon(t)  salt
1 1/2 Teaspoon(t)  bread machine yeast

Preparation

Make 1 1/2 pound recipe for bread machines that use 3 cups flour, or make 1 pound recipe for bread machines that use 2 cups flour. Measure carefully, placing all ingredients in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select basic/white cycle. Use medium or light crust color. Do not use delay cycles. Remove baked bread from pan and cool on wire rack.
