Recipe Description
After seeing a basket of ripe, juicy peaches on the counter of our local farm stand, I was inspired to make a chilled peach soup. This recipe combines the peaches with orange juice, honey and buttermilk. This luscious, creamy dessert soup was the result.

Ingredients

3   large ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
2 Cup(c)  orange juice
3 Tablespoon(T)  honey
1/4 Teaspoon(t)  cinnamon, ground
2 Cup(c)  buttermilk
4   fresh mint leaves, for garnish

Preparation

Place half of the peaches, half of the orange juice and all of the honey in a food processor and process until smooth. Transfer to a large bowl. Place remaining peaches and orange juice in food processor and blend. Add cinnamon and buttermilk and mix well. Combine with other ingredients in the bowl. Ladle into goblets and garnish with a mint leaf.
