Liver Spread

Recipe Description
This rich, and flavorful chicken liver spread can be served with crackers as a party appetizer.

Ingredients

1   bouillon cube
3 Tablespoon(T)  parmesan cheese, grated
1   onion, sliced
2 Slice(sli)  bacon, diced
3 Tablespoon(T)  water
2 Tablespoon(T)  butter
1/2 Pound(lb)  chicken livers

Preparation

Cut the liver in small pieces, remove skin and veins.  Heat the butter in a skillet and brown the liver on both sides.  Add 3 tablespoons water, reduce heat, and cook for 5 minutes.  Fry the bacon and the onions until golden.  Put everything through meat grinder.  Add the Parmesan cheese, season with salt and pepper, moisten with bouillon cube dissolved in 1 cup water.  Mix with a spoon until creamy.
