Ingredients

6   egg whites
2 Cup(c)  sugar
1 Teaspoon(t)  vinegar
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  vanilla extract

Preparation

Beat the egg whites until stiff. Add sugar by spoonfuls gradually, beating constantly. Add vinegar and vanilla. Beat 10 more minutes. Line a cookie sheet with brown paper. Drop small amounts of egg white mixture from a spoon. Bake in a slow 275 degree F oven for 1 hour. Turn off the heat, and leave the meringues in the oven till cold.
