Recipe Description
This simple citrus and rice recipe provides a great foundation for your creativity.  I like to use wild rice, but white or brown rice also works well.  You can also add a few tablespoons of chopped peanuts, walnuts or macadamia nuts for added crunch.

Serves To:USMetric
1 Pinch(pn)  salt, to taste
1 Dash(ds)  sugar
2 Cup(c)  orange juice
2 Tablespoon(T)  dehydrated onion soup
2 Cup(c)  wild rice
1 Pinch(pn)  pepper, to taste


Cook wild rice as per directions.  When soft, remove to a heatproof serving dish and add dehydrated onion soup, orange juice, sugar, salt and pepper.  Mix well.  Bake in a 350 degree F oven until juice has evaporated, about 10 minutes.
