Recipe Description
Serve this elegant poultry pate to your guests throughly chilled and sliced.  It pairs well with a tangy mustard sauce, or spicy horseradish sauce.

1 Pinch(pn)  pepper, to taste
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  nutmeg
1 Pinch(pn)  salt, to taste
4   eggs
6 Cup(c)  leftover turkey meat
5 Slice(sli)  white bread
2 Cup(c)  chicken cube bouillon mixed with turkey drippings
1/2 Pound(lb)  mushrooms
10 Ounce(oz)  chicken livers
8 Slice(sli)  bacon
1/2   bay leaf
1   large onion, quartered


Cook the onion, bay leaf, bacon, livers and mushrooms in the bouillon for 10 minutes.  Strain the bouillon and soak the bread in it.  Line 2 loaf pans with wax paper.  Grind onions, bacon, livers, mushrooms, turkey meat, and bread, twice.  Add eggs, salt, pepper and nutmeg.  Mix very well.  Fill the pans half full.  Cover with foil.  Bake in a slow 325 degree F oven for 1 1/2 hours.  Remove from the pan when slightly warm.  Allow to cool and chill.  Serve cold.
