Poultry Stuffing Ala Kraus

Recipe Description
This stuffing dish utilizes giblets for a heartier and more savory dish.  Be sure to double the portions for a large fowl.

Ingredients

1 Tablespoon(T)  butter
1 Teaspoon(t)  paprika
1 Teaspoon(t)  salt
1 Teaspoon(t)  parsley, minced
1 Cup(c)  celery, diced
1   apple, diced
1 Cup(c)  bread crumbs
1/2 Cup(c)  pecan meats or hickory nuts
1   onion
1 Bunch(bn)  giblets

Preparation

Cook the giblets until tender, with the onion.  Grind or mince them and mix with other ingredients.  Stuff and roast fowl as usual.
