Recipe Description
Golden shrimp fried in simple batter.  These shrimp are out of this world and a hit at any social gathering.

Ingredients

1 1/2 Pound(lb)  medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/4 Teaspoon(t)  salt
3/4 Teaspoon(t)  seasoned salt
1 Cup(c)  vegetable oil, for deep frying
1/2 Cup(c)  milk
1 Cup(c)  all purpose flour
1   egg, beaten
1/2 Cup(c)  oil

Preparation

Preheat the oil to 350°F in a deep fryer.  In a large bowl, combine the 1/2 cup oil and the egg.  Beat well.  Add the remaining ingredients except the shrimp and stir until well blended.  Dip the shrimp into the batter to coat.  Drop the shrimp carefully into the hot oil and deep fry for 30 to 60 seconds, until golden brown.  Remove with a slotted spoon.  Drain on paper towels.
