When you prepare the simple cocoa paste in advance, this mousse recipe is a cinch to put together. Your freezer does all the work!

1   whipped cream
1/2 Teaspoon(t)  vanilla
2 Tablespoon(T)  cocoa paste (made with equal parts unsweetened cocoa powder and cold water, mixed smooth)
1/8 Teaspoon(t)  salt
3/4 Cup(c)  powdered sugar
1   egg


Beat egg, sugar, salt, cocoa paste, and vanilla thoroughly. Whip cream, fold into first mixture and freeze without stirring for 3 to 4 hours in bowl packed with 1 part salt and 1 part ice. Enough to come half way up the side of mousse bowl.
