Recipe Description
No Thanksgiving meal is complete without the gravy!  At the end of preparing your traditional holiday feast, here is a gravy recipe that's simple and goes together quickly.

Ingredients

1/8 Teaspoon(t)  pepper, freshly ground
1/4 Teaspoon(t)  poultry seasoning
1/2 Cup(c)  pan drippings
2 1/2 Cup(c)  chicken broth
1/4 Cup(c)  all purpose flour
1/4 Cup(c)  butter

Preparation

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.  Whisk in flour, and cook, whisking constantly, 1 to 2 minutes or until golden and smooth.  Gradually whisk in chicken broth and pan drippings.  Increase heat to medium high, and bring to a boil.  Reduce heat to medium, and simmer, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or to desired thickness.  Stir in remaining ingredients.
